Chicken Fat is a chaos-driven, fame-fueled party card game where players choose Band, Album, or Song and the majority decides what wins. It’s easy to teach in under two minutes, plays fast, and rewards shared laughs over strategy.

There’s no trivia and no musical knowledge required. The structure keeps rounds tight, awards keep momentum high, and expansions add long-term shelf life. It’s built for repeat play and mixed-age groups who want instant engagement.

Each round, one player becomes the Judge and draws a completely unhinged phrase (for example: “Chicken Fat”)

The Judge secretly decides whether that phrase sounds more like a:

• Band
• Album
• Song

All other players secretly submit their own choice — and some may play special Boost Cards (like 80’s Hair Band, Date Night Soundtrack, or other themed variations) to compete for bonus points.

All cards are revealed.

The majority vote determines the winning category.

• If the Judge guessed the majority correctly → they score 1 point.
• If a Boost Card matches the winning category → it can score as well (and if multiple Boosts are played, the Judge decides which one wins).
• Momentum swings quickly, and table debate is part of the fun.

As players earn points in specific categories, they unlock industry awards:

• Talent Scout (most Band points)
• Platinum Producer (most Album points)
• Lyric Legend (most Song points)

Awards can be stolen if another player surpasses you — so no lead is ever safe. This keeps tension high and players engaged across the entire game.

There’s also a powerful Drop the Mic card.

When played, the Judge skips the round entirely and steals a point from any player in any category — which can:

• Swing the lead
• Steal an award
• Trigger a comeback

It creates big, memorable moments and keeps the energy unpredictable.
